We swung by Z34's place after dinner and found this. I think that fire pit was just there for looks but, it got used. The cops never showed up as far as I know.

Image
I hauled Mr. C's old Fuji almost 500 miles for this pic. We did some bike stuff.

I'm not sure of the official count on Metros but it was kind low for several reasons. Didn't matter. We had a full house of good Geo people!

Man, that's one wicked ride right there...

Sadly, that's all I got. Post em up!!! :popcorn

Looks like great fun and a lot of pretty red Metros... Tell me, were there any sedans at all? How many people attended, and how many Geo/Suzukis were there?

Wish I wouldn't of missed the fire, but... I basically drove back to the campground, pitched the tent, and briefly fell asleep on the tent floor, before realizing 10-15 minutes later, damn I should get out my sleeping bag.

My Geo count was 2 Verts, 9 Hatchbacks and a Tracker.

Good pics. My Metro count was 10 from the NorCal coast. Have seen 2 since I left the Gulf. A ragged 5 door in Tupelo, MS and red 95 up 3 dr in West Plains with 2 huge truck tires strapped to the top. Did not have the camera. Made me wonder where our friend Scoobs was at that moment. lol

Murf, Curious what axle ratio you are running? that's an impressively low rpm at that speed.

I made it home yesterday. Was tired of driving. Both Sun and Mon driving sucked. One was super high winds going over the Rockies, the other snowed, rained, sleeted and hailed on me, then came the winds. Both days they were head on and had to hang on to the steering wheel really hard, all day long. Will unpack today and see what are on my pics. Then do the math and see just how many miles it was. I know its well over 6000 miles. Am glad to sleep in my own bed last pm and to be back where its nice and cool outside. The heat and sun kicked my ass. My left arm is sunburned pretty bad. But that was a normal when I lived down in the desert.
